Curtiss-Wright Receives Entergy Premier Vendor Award for Implementation of Condition Monitoring Software Across Entergy’s Nuclear Power Fleet

BREA, CA – June 30, 2022 – Curtiss-Wright’s Nuclear Division (Curtiss-Wright) announced today that it has received the Entergy Premier Vendor Award for Continuous Improvement in recognition of its successful implementation of condition monitoring software across Entergy Corporation’s nuclear power fleet (Entergy Nuclear).

Entergy Nuclear’s Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) Center collects and analyzes data from the fleet’s five nuclear units to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability. It selected Curtiss-Wright’s Fleet Asset Management and Optimization Solutions (FAMOS) condition monitoring software to eliminate inefficiencies, improve worker utilization, and streamline plant operations.

After a two-phased implementation process, the M&D team is now able to automate monitoring and detection of problems, access real-time equipment data, and optimize overall plant performance with the FAMOS software – resulting in reduced costs and increased operational efficiency.
